On 17 July 2026, ALITA Philippines, led by ALITA Philippines Ambassador Marian Coquia-Regidor, hosted the Legal Innovation & Tech PH Meet-up at PJSLAW in Makati City.

The invitation-only gathering brought together legal professionals, technologists, academics, and innovators for an open discussion on the latest developments in legal innovation and AI in the Philippines. The session featured Brian W. Tang, Co-chair of ALITA and Executive Director of the LITE Lab at the University of Hong Kong, who joined participants in sharing regional perspectives on the future of legal technology and opportunities for cross-border collaboration.

Held under the Chatham House Rule, the meet-up encouraged candid conversations on AI adoption, legal transformation, and building a stronger legal innovation ecosystem in the Philippines and across the Asia-Pacific.
