Justice Aidan Xu @ Aedit Abdullah
Justice Aidan Xu @ Aedit Abdullah was appointed Judicial Commissioner in 2014 and High Court Judge on 30 September 2017.
Justice Aidan Xu @ Aedit Abdullah obtained a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1994, as well as a Bachelor of Civil Law (First Class) from the University of Oxford in 1998 and a Master in Public Management from NUS in 2007.
He joined the Singapore Legal Service in 1995 and began his career as a Justices’ Law Clerk. He then taught at the Faculty of Law, NUS, before re-joining the Singapore Legal Service. He has held various appointments, such as Deputy Public Prosecutor, Deputy Senior State Counsel and District Judge of the Subordinate Courts (renamed as State Courts in 2014). He was appointed Chief Prosecutor (Economic Crimes and Governance Division), and subsequently Chief Prosecutor (Criminal Justice Division) at the Attorney-General’s Chambers in 2011 and served as special counsel at the Monetary Authority of Singapore from January 2008 to June 2009. He was appointed Senior Counsel in 2012.
He is the chair and a member of various committees.

Mimi has nearly two decades of experience as a dual-qualified and multilingual business and regulatory lawyer, deep tech innovator and entrepreneur, and senior adviser and board member to governments, businesses and international organisations.
Ahmad Fikri Assegaf
Fikri co-founded AHP in 2001. With more than 20 years in practice, Fikri is an ardent supporter of the development and use of legal technology, having founded Hukumonline.com, a legal information online platform in Indonesia.
Komal GuptA
Komal Gupta heads Innovation and AI at India’s leading law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. She is a law graduate with over 15 years of experience in ALS. She drives innovation from the front and has been instrumental in leading in house initiatives like Vichaar – the Ideation week, implementation of AI enabled tools and Prarambh – India’s first legal tech incubator.
Terri Mottershead
As the Director for the Centre of Legal Innovation (Australia, New Zealand and APAC) at The College of Law, Terri works internationally with legal innovators, supporting their contribution to the transformation of legal practice. She has been a thought leader in people centred legal practice innovation for more than 25 years.
Paul Neo
Paul is the COO at the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL) – the promotion and development agency for Singapore’s legal sector – and also the Executive Director of SAL Ventures – SAL’s subsidiary to support the growth of “Future Law” enterprises. Paul is the Founder of the Future Law Innovation Programme (FLIP), Singapore’s national initiative to establish a legal tech ecosystem and to help the legal community innovate new models for the delivery of legal services in the future economy. Prior to joining SAL, Paul served as the CEO of Next U, the executive education subsidiary of Singapore’s National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). Paul was also a Management Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, where he undertook strategic consulting in the financial services, public sector and corporate development practice areas. An engineer by training, Paul began his career as a military engineer in the Singapore Armed Forces. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Master of Engineering and was awarded the MIT Graduate Fellowship Award. Paul also holds a Master of Engineering in Sensors and Smart Structures Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Paul is an accredited mediator at the Singapore Mediation Centre and the Singapore International Mediation Institute.
