Brian Tang (Co-chairperson)
Brian Tang is the founding executive director of the award-winning LITE Lab at the University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Law, whose students have won the Georgetown Law Iron Tech Lawyer Invitational and spun-off as lawtech startups. Brian is also a board member of the Fintech Association of Hong Kong and organised Hong Kong’s first lawtech and regtech hackathons whose top team won Global Legal Hackathon in New York. An internationally recognized speaker and author (including of Wiley’s The FinTech Book, The RegTech Book , The AI Book and The LegalTech Book), Brian was previously at global investment bank Credit Suisse in Hong Kong, Wall Street law firm Sullivan & Cromwell in New York and Silicon Valley and King & Wood Mallesons in Perth, Australia.
Adeline Chin (Co-chairperson)
Adeline Chin is a legal knowledge management consultant and legal tech evangelist. She is the co-founder of 3 legal-related companies, namely, LawTech Malaysia, Law Asia 365, and Cyrus Book Store.
A University of London law graduate and an MBA holder from Sydney Business School, Adeline has authored several whitepapers and publications relating to KM and legal tech and frequently speaks at conferences both domestically and abroad.
In her capacity as a KM professional, Adeline has designed, spearheaded and implemented innovative projects that humanize the law. She currently sits as a member of the Tech Expert Committee established under the auspices of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), and is the current Co-Chairperson of the Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation and Technology Association (ALITA).
