Ethan Huang

Ethan serves as the Business Strategy Manager of ALITA. His goal is to be a commercial lawyer specialising in areas relating to technology. He is also very passionate about helping shape the future of the legal profession and is always on the lookout for ways of bettering legal practice, the provision of legal services, and access to justice.

Jade is a second-year undergraduate at SMU Law and the current President of SMU's Legal Innovation and Technology Club. She seeks to understand the impact that technology will continue to have on the future legal industry and is passionate about finding new ways for technology to value-add to legal solutions.

Elizabeth is a second-year undergraduate at SMU Law and the current Vice-President of SMU’s Legal Innovation and Technology Club. She is eager to contribute to the growth of technology in the legal industry given her keen interest in algorithms and their role in Legal-Tech.

 

Venice Ong

Venice is a second-year undergraduate at SMU Law and is the current Honorary General Secretary of SMU’s Legal Innovation and Technology Club. With law and technology becoming increasingly intertwined in society, she is excited to understand and contribute to this synergy.

 

Celeste Loi

Celeste is a second-year graduate at SMU School of Law and is also the Events and Networking Director of SMU LIT. She is intrigued by how the law and technology are now inseparable and wants to learn more about how these two fields overlap in practice.

CLEMENT SOH

Clement is a second-year undergraduate at SMU Law and the current Senior Advisor for SMU’s Legal Innovation and Technology Club. With the advent of technology in the legal industry, he seeks to educate current and future law undergraduates its implication and how we can better adapt and prepare for the disruption.

 

Qian Hui liew

Qianhui is a second-year undergraduate at SMU Law and is the current Events and Networking Director of SMU's Legal Innovation and Technology Club. She is a firm advocate for better technological applications in the legal sector, and has a keen interest in the development of new legal-tech solutions.

 

Yue Ying

Yue Ying is a first-year undergraduate pursuing a Computing & Law degree. She is also the current Law & Tech Director of SMU's Legal Innovation and Technology Club. Having worked as a paralegal previously, she desires to make work more efficient through the use of legal tech and is curious as to how law might affect tech developments.

 

Guan Jie fung

Guan Jie is a first-year undergraduate at SMU Law and the current Law & Tech Director of SMU's Legal Innovation and Technology Club. He is interested to learn more about how technology will impact the practice of law and the law itself. He believes this is still Day 1 for legal tech.

 

Joey lim

Joey is a second-year undergraduate at SMU Law and the current Marketing Director of SMU’s Legal Innovation and Technology Club. She believes that disruptive technologies have significantly affected the legal sector, and is eager to learn and contribute to the evolving legal industry.

 

Maria santhosh

Maria is a 4th year student at SUSS Law, pursuing an LLB. She is an ardent believer that legal technology has and will increase access to justice. She is keen to explore how technology has elevated the application of Law and is excited to be involved in ALITA to promote the development of legal technology in Asia-Pacific.

 

Hao Ming

Hao Ming is a freshman at NUS Law. He has a keen interest in technology, and in particular blockchain technology. He is interested in how technology interacts with the law, and he believes that the law and technology should work hand in hand to radically change the world we live in.

 

Lester Poon

Lester is a Juris Doctor graduate from SUSS Law. He is passionate about bringing changes within the legal industry through the use of technology and outsourcing. He currently runs a litigation process outsourcing organisation providing trial and arbitration support to lawyers and law firms. He has a strong passion in the practice area of Arbitration and Alternate Dispute Resolution and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.

 

Nafisa

Nafisa is a second-year undergraduate pursuing a Computing & Law degree. She is also the current Law & Tech Associate of SMU’s Legal Innovation and Technology Club. She is interested to explore more about the intersection of the law and technology and understand more about the future developments in this practice.

 

Shae-lynn

Shae-Lynn is a first-year student at SMU Law and the current Finance and Operations Director of SMU's Legal Innovation and Technology Club. She is passionate about the future of legal technology and believes in the utilization of technology to improve access to justice.

 

yu hang

Yu Hang is a freshman in NUS Law and a member of Alt-Law. He is especially interested in the virtual spheres where law and tech intersect, particularly in the use and regulation of cryptocurrencies and NFTs.

 

Esther

Esther is a second-year student at SMU Law, and is a Marketing Associate at SMU's Legal Innovation and Technology Club (LIT). She believes it is crucial to anticipate changes in such a volatile sector and harness technology to further improve access to justice.
