The seminar will discuss:

• Lawtech ecosystem in Hong Kong especially from a startup founder’s perspective

• LegalAI opportunities and challenges for the legal profession

• Brief demos of LegalAI platforms from Hong Kong Lawtech startups on various legal use cases such as Hong Kong law legal research, contract review, patent analysis, contract creation etc.

Speakers:
Jack Shing is founder of D-Engraver Limited, and is an entrepreneur focussed on blockchain and generative AI, including its new lawintellichain product for the legal profession.

Ron Yu is director and co-founder of Makebell Ltd., which specializes in building AI agents for professional applications. Trained as a lawyer, he also teaches postgraduate classes in patent law at CityU and Regtech at CUHK.
