The Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation & Technology Association (ALITA) is pleased to convene its inaugural ALITA AI & Legal Practice Malaysia Roundtable on 29 January 2026, bringing its established APAC roundtable series to Kuala Lumpur.

The roundtable will be chaired by ALITA Co-Chairs Adeline Chin and Brian Tang, coinciding with Brian’s visit to Kuala Lumpur while speaking at The Corporate Legal Summit 2026. ALITA has previously hosted closed-door roundtables with leading practitioners from law firms and in-house legal teams in cities including Hong Kong, Singapore, New Delhi, Seoul and London.

Held under Chatham House Rules, the roundtable will provide an open forum for practitioners to discuss the opportunities and challenges in adopting new technologies such as AI and blockchain in legal practice. The discussion will be informed by regional and local perspectives, including insights reflected in ALITA’s State of Legal Innovation in Asia-Pacific 2025, to which Adeline contributed the Malaysia overview.
